Trying To Catch A Bunny

We had some baby rabbits in the burrow. They would come out occasionally but would run back to hide in the burrow when they say us. D1 were trying to get them to come out coz' he wanted to play with them. So, he got a little piece of carrot from my fridge and tied it to a string.

When you put bait at the end of a string to catch fish, it is called fishing.
So what is it when you are trying to catch rabbits? Rabbiting?

p.s. By the way, the plan was unsuccessful. But they did come out eventually (without the bait) and we got to play with them.
