Ingredients:
- 2 onions- chopped up finely
- Garlic - also finely chopped
- 2cm ginger - minced
- 4cm cinnamon bark
- 3 cloves
- 3 petals star anise
- 3 cardamoms (crush it first to get the flavor out)
- 1/3 cup tomato ketchup
- 1 fresh tomato - quartered
- Fried shallots (optional)
- Wash your rice and put aside.
- Put some cooking oil in the wok and fry the garlic, onions, ginger cinnamon, star anise and cardamoms until the fragrance fills the air.
- Add in your washed but uncooked rice. Stir until evenly coated.
- Transfer to the rice cooker.
- Add in water (hope you know how to measure water to cook rice).
- Add tomato ketchup and salt and give it a little stir.
- Wait for rice to be cooked.
- Dish out and add fresh tomatoes. (Actually, you could add some fresh tomatoes into the rice to cook too).
- Sprinkle some fried shallots on top and start feasting.
Happy cooking.
